A 69ª cerimónia dos Primetime Emmy Awards decorrerá no dia 17 de setembro, no Microsoft Theater em Los Angeles e, como tal, acabam de ser revelados os nomeados nas diversas categorias. O anfitrião da cerimónia será Stephen Colbert (The Late Show) e nos nomeados destacam-se o Saturday Night Live (NBC) e Westworld (HBO) que arrecadaram 22 nomeações cada.
FEUD: Bette and Joan (FX) e Stranger Things (Netflix) surgem em seguida com 18 nomeações cada, sendo que Veep chegou às 17 e Big Little Lie e Fargo contabilizaram 16 nomeações cada. Em resumo, a HBO surge na linha da frente com 110 nomeações, sendo seguida da Netflix (91), NBC (60), FX (54) e ABC (34).
