Aos 93 anos, Christopher Lee morreu num hospital em Londres, onde se encontrava internado na sequência de problemas respiratórios, revela o jornal britânico Telegraph. Com uma vasta carreira que inclui mais de 250 produções de cinema e televisão, o ator deixa assim um incontornável legado na história do entretenimento.

Com presenças regulares em séries de televisão, Christopher Lee ficou particularmente conhecido pelos diversos filmes em que participou, destacando-se os seus papéis em Star Wars e The Lord of the Rings, ou enquanto Conde Drácula. Mas não foi só de representação que se fez a sua vida e carreira, já que aos 92 lançou o seu terceiro EP, era dono de uma voz grave e tinha já lançado quatro álbuns de heavy metal. Em 2009 recebeu o título de Cavaleiro Real Britânico.
