A MTV acaba de anunciar os nomeados para os MTV Movie Awards 2016, no ano em que as Pipocas Douradas celebram 25 anos dos melhores filmes. A cerimónia dos MTV Movie Awards 2016, apresentada por Dwayne Johnson e Kevin Hart, terá lugar nos Warner Bros. Studios, na Califórnia, EUA, no sábado, dia 9 de abril, com transmissão na MTV Portugal.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens lidera as nomeações deste ano, com indicações em 11 categorias. Avengers: Age of Ultron, Creed, Deadpool, Jurassic World, Star Wars: The Force Awakens e Straight Outta Compton disputam a categoria mais cobiçada de todas: Filme do Ano.
Este ano, os MTV Movie Awards apresentam duas novas categorias, que pretendem celebrar as narrativas mais autênticas – História Verídica e Melhor Documentário.
No ano em que os MTV Movie Awards comemoram o seu 25º aniversário, a MTV estabeleceu uma parceria com a Google para votação na categoria de Filme do Ano. Para votarem no seu filme preferido, os fãs só necessitam de escrever MTV Vote na barra de pesquisa do Google e, automaticamente, surgem no motor de busca os filmes em votação.
As votações para as várias categorias dos MTV Movie Awards 2016 já estão abertas. Os fãs podem votar nos seus filmes e artistas favoritos até dia 20 de março, sábado, às 23h59, através do site www.MovieAwards.MTV.com.
A cerimónia dos Movie Awards 2016 será, uma vez mais, o pontapé de saída oficial da temporada de blockbusters de verão. Com transmissão na MTV Portugal, os Movie Awards irão premiar alguns dos melhores filmes de 2015 e dar aos fãs acesso a momentos inéditos e nunca antes vistos.
