A Writers Guild of America, sindicato dos argumentistas norte-americanos, elegeu, recentemente, as 101 séries televisivas mais bem escritas de sempre. Em primeiro lugar, vem The Sopranos, a mítica série da HBO, exibida entre 1999 e 2007. A comédia Seinfeld vem em segundo lugar, ao passo que The Twillight Zone completa o pódio como a terceira série mais bem escrita de sempre.
