A MTV revelou os nomeados para a 25ª edição dos MTV Movie Awards 2015. Com a humorista e atriz Amy Schumer no papel de apresentadora, a cerimónia acontece a 12 de abril, domingo, no Nokia Theatre, em Los Angeles, Califórnia, EUA, com transmissão em direto na MTV Portugal, na madrugada de 12 para 13 de abril, a partir das 00h30.
Os MTV Movie Awards 2015 serão o palco de uma batalha épica entre os blockbusters Guardians of the Galaxy e American Sniper, bem como entre as poderosas atrizes Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Stone, Shailene Woodley, Reese Witherspoon e Scarlett Johansson, que vão enfrentar-se para levar para casa as tão desejadas «Pipocas Douradas».
Os nomeados deste ano abrangem todos os géneros de filmes, desde os universos distópicos de The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 e The Maze Runner, passando por histórias sentimentais como The Fault In Our Stars e Boyhood, ou comédias de outro mundo como Guardians of the Galaxy, Neighbors, The Interview, The Wedding Ringer e Top Five, até a heróis da vida real, como Selma e American Sniper.
Este ano, os fãs poderão, ainda, assistir a um confronto entre Channing Tatum, Chris Pratt, Rose Byrne, Chris Rock e Kevin Hart, na categoria de «Génio da Comédia». Já Seth Rogen & Rose Byrne, Jonah Hill, Jason Sudeikis & Charlie Day, Miles Teller e Rosario Dawson & Anders Holm vão lutar pelo prémio de «Melhor Momento Louco e Impressionante». Meryl Streep e J.K. Simmons enfrentam-se na categoria de «Melhor Vilão», enquanto Zac Efron irá tentar defender o título de «Melhor Performance sem T-Shirt», enfrentando este ano a competição feroz de Kate Upton e o jovem quebra corações Ansel Elgort.
A cerimónia dos MTV Movie Awards 2015 será, uma vez mais, o pontapé de saída oficial da temporada de blockbusters de verão, prometendo oferecer um espetáculo épico, divertido, explosivo e de topo.
